Judas Priest They will have a documentary that will review their five decades of experience. And will be directed nothing less than by Sam Dunn and Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine.
“The Ballad of Judas Priest” It is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated documentaries by heavy metal fans around the world. Because there is no doubt about the fundamental role of the group in the evolution of the genre and in the weight of a discography that still maintains all its validity after accumulating material for fifty years.
And the great news is that, although there has been no release date, we already know that the documentary will be co -directed between Sam Dunnresponsible for the classic “Metal: to Headbenger’s Journey”and Tom Morello himself, one of the great guitarists of the alternative generation and member of Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, Lock Up, Prophets of Rage Or, alone, The Nightwatchman.
From its origins in Birmingham, in the United Kingdom, until today, the band has sold more than fifty million albums and has launched nineteen studio albums until reaching “SHIELD”his last work to date, published last year.
Tom Morello and Sam Dunn have declared in this regard that: “Although people meet Judas Priest for their great essential hymns to shape heavy metal, there is much more in their history. This documentary will draw their incredible trip of five decades, discovering the world how they defined the sound and image of the metal, but also how they helped the genre to be more inclusive.”
On the other hand, remember that Judas Priest will be acting next month in our country with concerts in Viveiro (June 25, Resurrection Fest), Santa Coloma de Gramenet (June 29, Barcelona Rock Fest) and Bilbao (June 30, Bilbao Arena).
