JJ, Eurovision winner, condemns the presence of Israel

This week, the Podcast ‘Revelation or Timo’ of Jenesaispop has discussed a hypothetical abandonment of Spain of Eurovision as a result of Israel’s presence in the contest. Should Spain leave for dignity or, in any case, is Israel the country that must leave?

Now, JJ, Eurovision winner with ‘Wasted Love’, has positioned himself in an interview with ABC collected by TV formula, in which he has assured that Eurovision “should have excluded Israel” from the competition just as he did with Russia. «I feel very disappointed to exclude Russia and leave Israel. The two are war aggressors, ”he said. “In addition, the two have tried to actively cause it, which is very disappointing.”

In addition, JJ has alluded to the promotion of Israel’s candidacy internationally, in the form of ads issued on YouTube, and has raised the need for a more controlled televoto. «I can’t do anything, but if it had been for me, I would have excluded them both. We will see what happens next year, perhaps everything is more fair and the televoto is better supervised, and without ads in between ».

In an interview with Los40, JJ has reiterated these same words, ensuring that he has not felt “satisfied” with Israel’s participation in the contest.

Israel has been at the gates of winning Eurovision this year after suddenly adding 297 points of the Televoto, the largest of the night, when before the sum of these points he had only obtained 60 votes from the jury.
