Jennifer Finchbassist of the grunge and hard rock band L7asks for help to be able to cover the expenses of the operations for the brain cancer that has been diagnosed.
L7 were and continue to be one of the references of rock made by women during the nineties, a group that moved between grunge, punk rock and even metal and that marked countless later groups who saw in them and in Babes In Toyland or Hole groups that could stand up to the men’s bands based on attitude and strength.
Now the group has announced that Jennifer Finch, their bassist, suffers from an aggressive brain cancer that will force her to undergo various operations that will result in her having physical limitations for a long time.
For this reason, through Donita Sparks, the band has given them all their support and has launched a GoFundMe campaign to be able to face the high expenses that the operations will entail. And it seems that people are responding by supporting the bassist with their contributions.
After celebrating their forty years of career after returning to activity in 2019, L7 were starring in their farewell tour The Last Hurrah Tour, but they themselves have pointed out that the idea of the tour was born when the four members of the group were in good health.
You can support Jennifer on this GoFundMe page.
