Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, on the movie of The Weeknd

‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, The Weeknd’s new album, is now available and is another remarkable work by Abel Tesfaye, although opinions that defend the opposite abound. The album, sure, is long and epic, but The Weeknd does not seem enough and has prepared a film in accompaniment to the album, which will be released in cinemas on May 16.

The ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ film has been directed by Trey Edward Shults, director of ‘It Comes At Night’ and ‘Wave’, and will have an interesting cast. Apart from The Weeknd making himself, the ‘Wednesday’ Jenna Ortega actress and the actor of ‘Saltburn’ Barry Beoghan appear. It seems that The Weeknd has seen Sabrina Carpenter’s last video clips, like everyone else; Or they were simply a fan of these two actors.

According to the synopsis of ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, the film tells the story of “a musician tormented by the insomnia who is dragged into an odyssey next to a stranger who begins to unravel the very nucleus of his existence.” That is, the tape will dramatize the recent years of Abel Tesfaye’s life, while preparing to move on to the next phase of his career. The official trailer is now available.
