Jane’s Addiction shares first new song with original lineup in 34 years.
They’d teased the song at shows before, but now “Imminent Redemption” has finally come to light. The band, which features all four original members Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Eric Avery, said, “This time it’s different. Having everyone back together, releasing new music. It’s time. Welcome to the next chapter of Jane’s Addiction. ‘Imminent Redemption’ is just the beginning.”
Another new track that has also been played in her live performances is “True Love” but it has not yet been officially shared. Farrell has commented that working on new Jane’s Addiction material has been “one of the most exciting times” of her life.
Jane’s Addiction will embark on a North American tour next month, supported by Love & Rockets.
