After last weekend’s incident in Boston, the soap opera Jane’s Addiction continues. After cancelling the remaining concerts of the tour, Perry Farrell officially apologizes to Dave Navarro for having had “inexcusable behavior” towards him.
The video that has gone around the world in the rock universe, the statements of Perry Farrell’s wife blaming Eric Averybassist for Jane’s Addiction, the cancellation of the remaining dates of the Jane’s Addiction reunion tour… well, the soap opera continues although tempers seem to have calmed down a bit.
Perry Farrell has publicly apologized to guitarist Dave Navarro for overstepping his boundaries and adopting inexcusable behavior. In fact, he added that “I take full responsibility for the way I handled the situation.” Let’s remember that the Boston concert was one of the American concerts of the reunion tour of the original lineup of the alternative rock band from Los Angeles (Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Eric Avery), the same one with which they recently visited Vitoria and Madrid.
Farrell also noted that “it’s been an incredibly difficult weekend and after having time and space to reflect, I apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, my fans, family and friends for my attitude during last Friday’s concert.”
