Jamie XX shares the raver video for “Falling Together”

Jamie XX has released the video clip for “Falling Together”, the latest single from their recent “In Waves”. It is one of the most house moments on the album and the video takes us to a rave full of color and hope.

The video clip is presented as a visual extension of the album’s own sound, which fuses electronic textures with moments of introspection. Throughout its duration, “Falling Together” is built with layers of enveloping synths and the vocal collaboration of Oona Dohertywhose tone perfectly complements the feeling of overflowing freedom that the song conveys.

The track is differentiated by its mix of trance and house sounds, with a focus on the joy of the dance floor. This last cut of “In Waves” It also reflects the influence of the club nights that Jamie xx has been experiencing in his personal and professional life, following the launch of his own club, The Floor, in London. The song becomes a vibrant closer of sorts, aligned with Jamie xx’s vision of creating music that expresses a sense of liberation and interconnectedness among club-goers, a contrast to everyday anxieties.
