James Blake advances his new album with “death of love“, a song with which he opens his new era after three years in silence and after following a policy of moving away from the spotlight and marketing.
The artist has released “Death Of Love”, a single that becomes the first preview of his new album “Trying Times“, which will see the light next March 13. The launch is accompanied by a video clip directed by the creative duo Harrison & Adairand rolled with the London Welsh Men’s Choir inside an office. The song is an example of the space between intimacy and isolation in a time of obvious instability. “Trying Times”, which has collaborations from Monica Martin and Daveruns through the pressure lines of modern life, where overload becomes both the discursive concept and the sound atmosphere.

James Blake is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, who began his career in 2011 with his self-titled debut album. After him, five more albums arrived, with “Playing Robots Into Heaven” being the last, in 2023. In addition, he has collaborated with artists such as Rosalía, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean, among others.
