British singer and songwriter Jake Bugg has announced that he will perform in Madrid and Barcelona next year to present “Poplar”. The British artist will offer two concerts in our country: on April 6, 2027 at the Teatro Eslava in Madrid and on April 7, 2027 at La Paloma in Barcelona.
The album marks a return to the country roots that inspired his early work and shows a more vulnerable and reflective artist through eleven songs that deal with themes such as loneliness, love and the difficulties of his past.
Bugg rose to fame with his self-titled debut album, released when he was just eighteen, which went to number one in the UK and went platinum three times. Since then, he has developed a career of almost fifteen years marked by tours, festivals and seven studio albums.
As for tickets, there will be pre-sales: SMusic: starting on Thursday, September 10 at 11 a.m., and Live Nation: starting on Thursday, September 10 at 11 a.m., while the general sale will be on Friday, September 11 at www.livenation.es and www.ticketmaster.es.
