Jade wants your heart in the reaugadora ‘plastic box’

Jade continues to advance the content of his debut album, ‘That’s Showbiz, Baby!’, Which is put on sale on September 12. The album is already six singles: ‘Angel on My Dreams’,’ Midnight Cowboy ‘,’ Fantasy ‘,’ It girl ‘,’ Fufn (Fuck you for now) and ‘Plastic Box’. That is, almost half of the album is already known, which does not come out for three months.

‘Plastic Box’, the theme that comes out today, is one of the best. It is also one of the cleanest and polished in terms of instrumentation. It is today’s song.

With an electropop beat and a dreamy melody, ‘Plastic Box’ is the jade single that most evokes the essence of Robyn (‘Dancing on My Own’) or Ariana Grande (‘We Can’t Be Friends’). Swedish producer Oscar Görres, who has worked on ‘Eternal Sunshine’ and is Troye Sivan’s right hand, is behind the production of ‘Plastic Box’, as well as grades, alias of English Daniel Traynor, collaborator of Nao or Dua Lipa.

The secret of ‘Plastic Box’ is its containment. Production is subtle and elegant, and melody, far from exploding, remains in a suspended state. In that sense, it is the antithesis of ‘Angel of My Dreams’, but equally effective.

‘Plastic Box’ tells Jade’s jealousy and insecurity story towards his partner’s romantic past. Jade asks to keep that person’s heart in a “plastic box” to be the only owner of that love, but knows that this desire is “irrational and impossible.” However, it does not stop hurting. In ‘Plastic Box’, that feeling sounds bittersweet and wonderful.
