Jack White has once again used his social media platform to criticize the mandate of Donald Trump, whom he has described as “the worst American in history.” However, on this occasion he has also addressed his words to the “evangelical Christians” who follow him, after the president published an AI photograph in which he appeared characterized as Jesus Christ.
“Do you remember that antichrist that you have been talking about for all these years and how he would present himself as Jesus and bring the end of days with a war in the Middle East that would include Jerusalem?” White begins his message, making a clear allusion to the conflict between the United States and Israel against Iran. Since the publication of the fake photograph, Trump has alleged that it represented him as a “doctor” and that it “had to do with the Red Cross.”
“If the crimes, the Epstein files, the rapes, the school bombings, the ICE gestapo attacking their own citizens, the threats to invade Greenland, Cuba, Venezuela and Iran did not convince you that you have been deceived by this scammer, perhaps this little post will do it?” White continued ironically. He wonders how “so-called Christians” can support him after this “blasphemy” and after criticizing the Pope for his position on the war in Iran: “How could millions of people fall for this scam?”
In a message after the original publication, Jack White acknowledges the negative response that Trump has received from “some Christians who do take their religion seriously”: “He lies, he lies about the lie, he doubles the lie with another lie and they swallow it again,” concludes the artist.
