Jack Russell He was one of the founding members of the American hard rock and hair metal band Great White. Last month he decided to leave the stage to deal with various ailments that had his health in jeopardy. He suffered from dementia and multiple organ atrophy. He was currently the vocalist for Jack Russell’s Great White, a band that he captained after leaving Great White.
Although Great White were hugely popular in the 1980s and continued to tour for decades, things were never easy for the group, which in 2003 was involved in one of the most tragic accidents in rock history when, due to a pyrotechnic failure, the venue in which they were playing caught fire, causing one hundred deaths – including that of group member Ty Longley – and more than two hundred injuries.
For the memory there are albums as well-rounded in their genre as “Shot In The Dark” (86), “Once Bitten” (87) and “…Twice Shy” (89).
