Itziar Castro’s communication agency has reported that “everything points to heart failure” as the cause of the actress’ death, although the exact cause has not yet been determined.
Itziar Castro was one of the best-known faces on Spanish television following his appearance in series such as ‘Vis a vis’, ‘Paquita Salas’ or ‘Por H o por B’. Born in Barcelona, she took her first steps on television in fiction such as ‘El cor de la ciutat’.
In 2017, Castro joined the cast of ‘Pieles’, the film by Eduardo Casanova. This role earned her a Goya nomination for best new actress.
