The Ibiza Rocks Hotel has announced the pause of all the performances after the tragic death of two young people who have fallen from the complex balconies in less than two weeks.
The morning of July 21, a 19 -year -old British died after falling from the third floor of the hotel. The incident has produced just two weeks after the death of Evan Thomson, a 26 -year -old Scottish tourist, in similar circumstances.
In a statement, the organization has declared “deeply dismayed and devastated” and has assured that it will collaborate with the authorities while prioritizing the well -being of those affected. “The security of our guests has been and always will be our top priority,” they said.
Out of respect for the victims and the severity of the situation, the hotel has decided to temporarily suspend its event programming, possibly including the celebrations planned by its 20th anniversary, with artists such as Dizzee Rascal and rudimental on the poster. Customers will be informed directly by email.
