The electronic afro-funk band Ibibio Sound Machine will have a new EP in September, “The Black Notes EP”which comes shortly after the album “Pull The Rope”. This month you will be able to see them live at the Cinnamon Party from Torremolinos.
It’s been just four months since Ibibio Sound Machine released their fifth full-length, “Pull The Rope”and they are already presenting new material. At this point it is the single “Black Notes”, the piece that will give title to the EP that the Londoners will publish in September, specifically on the 4th.
“The Black Notes EP” will include the new songs “Black Notes” and “Honey Bee” along with remixes of “Pull The Rope” and “Got To Be Who U Are”, the first two cuts from “Pull The Rope”The remixes will be signed by Captain Planet and Vanguard.
These songs and many others will be heard in the upcoming concerts of the group that, after performing in the next edition of the festival Cinnamon Party in Torremolinos (21-24 August), will continue to perform throughout Europe with stops in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
