Lobisonthe project led by Sevillian Juamba d’Estroso, is back with a new album. What is not spoken about is not forgotten It is the fifth work of this unique project in body and soul that in its first video single proclaims I don’t want to dierof course about love. We premiere the video clip made by Murciano Total.
We always celebrate each of Lôbison’s works because his ability to move remains intact and this is the fifth one. What is not spoken about is not forgotten (2024) is the title of this new work and the perfect leitmotiv to define the project led by the irreducible Juamba d’Estroso. Taken down to these eight songs, it would suggest a deep and unrestricted exploration. An emotional journey, as always, that relies first on the particular way of telling it that its protagonist has, and second on that sound carousel that goes from noise pop to folk and from chanson to after punk or copla.
I don’t want to die It is a mid-tempo with that cadence and decadence of nosy pop guitars perfect for a bittersweet declaration of love. Love that Juamba always takes to the precipice of life. The video clip, as it could not be otherwise, is made by Total Murcian on an idea of Luisa Salazarwho also designed the album cover. The result brings to life a postcard that reminds us of these hot days in Seville, among other things.
“To be shipwrecked again between your arms and hands, before your eyes I fall, I crash on your lips. I caress your hair. I don’t remember the pills, I’m not a hypochondriac and I don’t want to die, no, I don’t want to die, no, I don’t want to die, no, I don’t want to die.” Inside video!
