Cariño are ready to release their first album after the departure of María Talaverano: ‘Pop! Magic! Tragedy!’ It will be available next November 6. The group now formed by Alicia Ros and Paola Rivero has delivered a preview, after the revealing ‘I hate music’, capable of making anyone fall in love. ‘Romantic’ is the Song of the Day.
Cariño’s taste for bubblegum pop is still very present in ‘Romántico’, full of melodic guitars and sweet bells, as is his knack for making something totally catchy. Ros sings about the feelings two people experience after ending a relationship that was anything but boring: “It was all so fast, so romantic, so exciting / So dramatic, so daring, so adorable.”
Neither of them finishes getting over the relationship, with both claiming that they have overcome it or that they have forgotten it, but nothing could be further from the truth: “Don’t give me that face, I won’t forget it either,” Ros sings. The only thing left for them now is to “clean up” their room a little and, above all, treat themselves “better.”
Alicia and Paola have also announced a tour that will take them through Valencia, Barcelona, Málaga, Granada, Zaragoza, Madrid and Bilbao. All tickets are available, except those for Madrid and Bilbao. “Each show includes a magic show!” reads the tour poster.
