The festival Holika It will start its eighth edition next July 1 with a very special opening in the heart of Calahorra, in La Rioja.
The Cathedral Square will be the scene of a great audiovisual show headed by Father Guilherme. It will be on July 1, although the festival will last until July 5.
The artist is one of the prominent names on the poster, in a proposal that will unite electronic music, historical heritage and large format technology.
The performance will take place in front of the Calahorra Cathedral, which will be transformed into an immersive stage thanks to a significant technical deployment. The show will include mapping on the temple’s façade, lighting designed specifically for the environment and a powerful laser production created to turn this opening into one of the highlights of the festival. Along with Father Guilherme, artists such as Lexlay B2B Javi Colina, Marnik and Joyse.
The combination of monumental architecture and contemporary audiovisual language seeks to create a unique sensory experience. The cathedral, built between the 15th and 18th centuries and located in one of the most representative historical spaces of the city, will function as a canvas for a proposal created expressly for this inauguration.
This event will also serve as a preview of the great technical deployment planned for Holika 2026. The festival will once again rely on large-format stages, more than five hundred square meters of LED screens, hundreds of lighting projectors and a high-power sound system. With this opening, Holika reinforces its commitment to turning Calahorra into one of the musical epicenters of the summer.
