The sixth edition of the free festival Hiriko Soinuak It will take place on October 25 and 26 in the Herriko plaza in Barakaldo.
The festival returns at the end of October Hiriko Soinuak with two days full of music in the heart of Barakaldo. The first day will be led by the people of Granada Nick Lizardwho celebrate 35 years of experience, and the legendary Ana Currawho began his career in the late 70s in groups such as Alaska y los Pegamoides and the cult band Paralisis Permanente. The Granadans will be in the second Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimbaone of the surprises of recent years in our scene thanks to its fusion of flamenco, psychedelia and rock, and The Bo Derek’sled by Oscar Avendaño, former bassist of Siniestro Total. They will be accompanied by the 4 winning projects of the Hiriko Soinuak 2024 contest, which will be announced after the final this coming Saturday, September 28, in the San Bizente park in Barakaldo.
Last year the festival brought together around 4,500 people with performances by 091, Def Con Dos and Los Deltonos, among others (chronicle here). This year, the concerts will begin at 7 p.m. on both days. The exact times of each performance will be announced later.
