On October 24 and 25, the Herriko Plaza in Barakaldo will once again host the free festival for the seventh year Hiriko Soinuak. As usual, four renowned bands from the state scene will perform alongside the four winning projects of the Hiriko Soinuak contest 2025which were revealed at the end of the performances in the final held on September 27 in the San Bizente park in Barakaldo.
After bringing together nearly 4,500 people in its previous edition with performances by Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba, Lagartija Nick, Ana Curra and The Bo Derek’s, among others, the Hiriko Soinuak festival this year will feature veterans Repeat offendersa reference for punk rock in Spanish, the people of Madrid Biznagaone of the references of the new generation of punk, the Galician duo Bullet and the Barcelona quartet Sandré. The bands Monday Potions (main prize), Nightwaves (best artist from Barakaldo), Jonsor (BBK-Equality award) and Laztana Laztana (best artist in Basque) will accompany them when they are declared winners of the seventh edition of the Hiriko Soinuak contest, promoted by the Barakaldo City Council.
Likewise, during the weekend the third edition of Bunkerthe fair of records, books, collector’s items, conversations and concerts, promoted by the Barakaldo City Council, which revolves around music and emotions. Its schedule will be announced in the coming days.
