The duo formed by Gonzalo Jiménez and Jordan Montero presents the video clip of Sad eyessecond advance of his next album planned for autumn of 2025. Rolled with photography by Christian Pujolá and starring Nalyta, the video translates into images the fatal attraction and melancholy that inhabit the song. Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Psychodelia make up that deep sea that describes so well Hinge.
Hinge continue their way to the third album with the launch of the video clip of Sad eyesan issue that consolidates its transition to a Dream Pop of dense textures and magnetic atmospheres. After the electric blow of “skate or dies”, this second advance delves into the melancholic and confessional pulse that characterizes the Granada band.
The video clip, directed by the duo itself, displays a visual story marked by lights and shadows, reflecting the emotional duality of the subject. With the camera of Christian Pujolá (Epic Factory Cinema Rental) and the interpretation of Nalytathe images become metaphors of attraction and destruction, a dream trip that intensifies the sound experience.
The letter –“Those sad eyes, a deep sea and I sink … a black hole that sucks me … in your deep sea I destroy me”– Encloses the essence of the song: the fascination with a beauty that dazzles and drags. Between floating guitars and enveloping synthesizers, hinge transforms vulnerability into hypnotic energy, consolidating its creative maturity.
Formed in 2009, Gonzalo and Jordan have turned a hinge into a benchmark of the Granadina independent scene thanks to a sound that mixes indie, shoegaze and psychedelia with spirit Diy. The new album, produced, recorded and mastered by themselves, promises to place them at a decisive point of their career.
The video clip Sad eyes It is already available on YouTube, while the single can be heard on all digital platforms.
