Hamilton Leithauser (The Walkmen) announces new solo album

Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen has announced that he will publish a new solo album and, for now, he has shared the first preview under the title of “Knockin’ Heart.”

The album, which will be released through glassnote will be titled “The Side Of The Island” and it will come to light March 7although you can already hear the first preview of the album, “Knockin Heart”. “The Side Of The Island” It has been co-produced by Hamilton himself and his wife Anna Stumpf. The couple has also had the help of Aaron Dessner of The National on seven of the work’s nine tracks.

“I started it thinking I wanted to make a song power trio as Nirvana. “It’s about an estranged, drugged-out lover who’s dying to get a message across to someone who probably isn’t listening,” says Leithauser about the new album. The artist will offer a series of concerts in Los Angeles, London, Toronto, Chicago and New York.
