Haim abandon “shame” and “the cocks” on their fourth album

During their last concert in Los Angeles, Haim have announced the arrival of their expected album. This is titled ‘I Quit’ and will be available on June 20. In the same event they also debuted two new songs and invited Addison Ra to the stage.

The beginning of the performance was a video in which the title of the album could be read, followed by different variations, such as “abandoning what does not work for me”, “I abandon thinking too much”, “abandoned shame”, “I abandon the cocks” and “abandonment that matters to me what you think.” Then, they revealed the release date of the album.

Haim began playing their last single, ‘Everybody’s trying to figure me out’, and continued with the first advance of this new stage, ‘Relationships’. In between, they debuted ‘Down to Be Wrong’, the new single, now available, and ‘Blood on the street’, which had the appearance of Addison Rae. This was limited to dancing and wandering along the stage.

The album cover, revealed this afternoon, has been photographed by Paul Thomas Anderson, a friend of the Haim family and frequent collaborator of the band. He already directed the videos of ‘Man from the Magazine’ and ‘Summer Girl’, in addition to signing Alana Haim for the films ‘Licorice Pizza’ and the next ‘One Battle After Another’.
