Guille Galvánknown above all for being a member of Vetusta Morlaputs a soundtrack to “Madrid. Ext”the one that is the new movie of Juan Cavestany. Both the soundtrack and the film will be available August 29.
On August 29, the movie will arrive in Cinema “Madrid. Ext”directed by the filmmaker and playwright Juan Cavestany. The soundtrack is signed by the composer, a member of Vetusta Morla and writer Guille Galván, who will also be available that day on streaming platforms by the Haging Seal Strengthen.
The film has been defined as a film trial around the city of Madrid and the transformations and contradictions it has suffered during the last four years. It can be considered “a tribute to Madrid as a great visual and sound archive of its inhabitants and locations where trade and fauna, architecture and ladies, mercerías and poets, builders and destroyers of the city …”.
On the soundtrack, Galván points out that: “I had to build the soundtrack not of an existing city but of its experience, subjective and unique. It was not about making archeology or folklore, but of assembling through music and sound, the way of looking at that city, of wanting it and respecting it. For this I have tried to wash the noise to get their gold Sugaperras machines, the subway… ”
