Gran Bola de Neu, Apolo’s free Christmas party, returns

On December 21, a new edition of the Gran Bola de Neu Christmas party returns to the Sala Apolo in Barcelona, which will be held in the spaces of La (2) and La Cinc with free access. The Futuroa DJ AL-V will entertain the event.

The musical lineup is made up of three artists, the Catalans Dianka and Tetas Frías and the French JeanneTo. Dianka has created her own universe inspired by the Spanish fairs of the 60s and 70s, and her album ‘TOMBOLERA!’ It is a recommendable work of electronic pop that is close to the Camela sound in their best song, ‘Los clashes chocones!’.

Tetas Frías, for their part, practice “punkitronica”, in their words, although they give the same “punk, black metal and midwest emo” as “tontipop and teknaso”. His 2023 album, ‘Another shirt’, includes his most listened to song, ‘chicoZzZ del under’, which is dedicated to a guy who “looks like a fancy indie” but who is nothing more than “a fucking loser.”

Originally from France, JeanneTo explodes the stage with her electronic bases that refer to Brutalismos 3000 or COBRAH. JeanneTo gives pure “rave pop” in her fifth EP, thus titled, and in track-breakers like ‘Réveillée’ or ‘Citron gingembre’, in addition, she offers emotional melodies and lyrics that talk about “social and emotional relationships or psychoactive substances.”
