Gracie Abrams, top 2 albums in Spain; Bad Management, top 16

The Spanish albums chart continues to be led by Quevedo and his ‘EL BAIFO’. Not even the macro launch of an international star like Gracie Abrams has been able to unseat him this time. ‘Daughter from Hell’ enters directly at number 2, improving the data of their previous album, ‘The Secret of Us’, which reached number 5 and ended up being certified as a Gold Record in our country.

‘Daughter from Hell’ is being an undisputed success for Gracie Abrams, especially in the English market, and is number 1 in both the United States and the United Kingdom. In total, it has so far reached number 1 in 11 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Scotland, as well as European markets such as Germany, France and Belgium.

Also noteworthy is the success of Madrid-based ragpicker MVRK, which places ‘Please Behave Radio Vol. 2’ within the top 10 of the Spanish album chart, specifically in position 9, driven solely by streaming.

On the other hand, the big winner in physical format is the Madrid band Mala Gestión, which places ‘We do what we can’ in 18th place on the general list, while on the vinyl sublist it reaches number 2, only behind Gracie Abrams. Quite an achievement for an independent release, supported only by the distributor Acqustic.

Only a couple more entries complete the week’s news, coming from very different genres. On the one hand, Gonzy debuts at number 35 with ‘From Miami, with Luv’. Finally, metal band Motionless in White places ‘Decades’ at number 75.
