After surprising everyone and everyone with his solo debut “Hasiera Bat” (Only In Dreams, 24), Gorka Urbizu releases the second in a series of EPs. “Bakan II” It was recorded at the studios Abbey Road.
Last January it was launched “Bakan I”an EP that now has continuity with a new release that represents a new step forward in Gorka Urbizu’s career after ceasing activity with Berri Txarrak. “Bakan II” – remember that “Bakan” means “something unique, extraordinary…” in Basque – includes two songs that function as double A-sides and that their vinyl edition will mark them exactly that way.
These are “Diamantea” (diamond) and “Zilarra” (silver), and both songs will have video clips by the production company. Arriguri. The vinyl edition will be limited and numbered and can be purchased on the artist’s own website and in the last concerts of the tour.
The release of this EP coincides with the final stretch of a tour, Bat Tourwhich has taken Urbizu, along with his impressive band with two drummers, throughout the peninsula and even Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Chile. Amaia Miranda (guitar and vocals), Karlos Arancegui (drums), Felix Buff (drums and vocals) and Nando Neira (bass) will accompany him on the last dates of the tour, which are as follows:
