The album has been produced by Gorillaz next to James Ford, Samuel Egglenton and Remi Kabaka Jr.in addition to Bizarrap. The recordings took place in the legendary Studio 13 of London and Devon, in addition to different locations in India – including Mumbai, New Delhi, Rajastán and Benarés – as well as in Ashgabat, Damascus, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. The album brings together interpretations in five languages: Arabic, English, Hindi, Spanish and Yoruba.
