Goodbye to Claudia Cardinale

Tonight the death of Claudia Cardinale has communicated. He was in the immediate vicinity of Paris and was 87 years old. Cardinale will be remembered as one of the most charismatic actresses of the 21st century, specifically from the 60s. It was then that she rolled with directors such as Visconti and Fellini, even at the same time.

His roles in ‘Ochoymedio’ by Federico, ‘El Gatopardo’ of Luchino, or even the comedy ‘La Pink Panthera’ are especially remembered. With Blake Edwards then he would make several collaborations and cameos. He used to say that recording ‘the pink panther’ told him one of his favorite compliments: “Together with the spaghetti, you are the best invention in Italy.”

In truth born in Tunisia, Claudia Cardinale jumped to fame when she won a beauty contest in this country in 1957. Then they invited her to a film festival, and the rest is history. After appearing in ‘Goha’ (1958) with Omar Shariff, he came ‘I soliti igti’ by Monicelli (in Spain known as ‘Rufufú’ and in English as ‘Big Deal on Madonna Street’) and ‘Rocco and his brothers’ by Luchino Visconti.

If in the 70s he made ‘Las Petroleras’ with Brigitte Bardot, we must also remember his papers in Spain. With Fernando Trueba he worked in ‘The artist and the model’. When she was honored at the Berlin Festival, she said that “he had lived more than 150 lives: prostitute, holy, romantic, each type of woman, and it is wonderful to have this opportunity to change yourself.”
