Glad is the day celebrates its ninth edition in Donostia

Glad is the daythe free festival organized by Donostia Kultura along with Dabadaba and Le Bukowski, returns on the first Sunday of August with more than 15 bands and artists.

On the first Sunday of the month, on August 3, Cristina-Enea Park will be filled with music again with the ninth edition of the Diurnal and Free Festival Glad id the daywhere more than 15 bands and artists will pass. Concerts, DJs sessions, picnics, a marketing market and activities make up the program of a musical day that will begin at 12:00 and will end at 21:00.

Seven bands will pass through the main stage: the conceptual electronic pop of the Barcelona Hydrogensethe frantic punk arcade of Entertainment systemthe garage-pop postpunk of Pinpilinpussiesthe indie shoegaze of the Argentinas End of the worldthe experimental pop of Mirua Guipuzcoan, Peachy Joke’s rock energy and the festive spirit of OEP. In addition to those bands, eight performances linked to the club and the most electronic sounds will dance the sonic ruin: LinaPary, Simona, Scientist, Miravalles, Infanta, Tronis, Puñales B2B Lamia Mari and Putas Amak. Once the night fell, more DJs will select the best themes in Le Bukowski and Dabadaba for those who wish to lengthen the weekend.

The market will be managed through Dabadaba and 50 positions will be enabled for a wide diversity of shops, from vintage stores to local talents creations.
