Giorgia had to win Sanremo with ‘The cure per me’

Giorgia has been one of the contestants of Sanremo 2025. ‘The cure per me’ has been in sixth position, but it is one of the best songs of its edition.

Giorgia, of course, is not no rookie, because he is one of the most famous and recognized singers in Italy. Due to its wide vocal range, it is known as the “Italian Whitney Houston.” Giorgia has participated five times in Sanremo, and the first, in 1995, won, but did not go to Eurovision because, at the time, Italy was withdrawn from the contest.

‘The priest per me’ won the poll of Escplus Spain, but the jury of Sanremo opted for Olly. However, ‘The cure per me’ has a fuse to become a classic of Giorgia, another of many.

It is a song expensive in its ballad format, in addition to excellently played by Giorgia. The ‘La Cura Per Me’ is also a splendid melody for which Paloma Faith would kill, and the one that producer Michelangelo takes advantage of various ways. First pianos and ropes emerge, racing the terrain for the intensity after. And then, they join the mixture and battery rhythms that wear the song with a very typical style of the eighties.

“The cure” of Giorgia is nothing other than love. It is love the antidote that heals his fear of loneliness, that “dark room” in which his mind sometimes encloses. A love that, on the other hand, Giorgia will not find “chasing him” everywhere, because he must arise within herself. This message transmits ‘The cure per me’ within a classical composition that puts the magic of a good bridge again.
