Ghost recover their version of “It’s A Sin” by Pet Shop Boys

Ghost recover their version of “It’s A Sin” by Pet Shop Boyswhich they recorded during the sessions of “Prequelle” (18) and that had appeared on the physical deluxe edition of the album

A few days before starting a new section of the “SKELETA Tour” by USA, Ghost have shared a version of the classic by Pet Shop Boys “It’s A Sin” from 1987. The version was recorded during the sessions of “Prequelle” and had already appeared on a limited edition single and on the deluxe edition of the album. In addition, it sounded in the trailer of the video game “Lords Of The Fallen II” last year, but until now it was not available to all its followers directly.

The news came in a new video titled “Episode 24: Frater Is Delegating”that Ghost have shared on YouTube. In short, the video focuses on one thing: the song’s version of Pet Shop Boys. If you’re wondering how the reissue fits into the band’s overall saga, this latest chapter features the former frontman Frater Imperator carrying out a digital maneuver to mock the band’s current vocalist, Pope V Perpetua.

The video shows Frater boycotting the possibility of an upcoming EP of covers by the current lineup and then, upon realizing that he has access to the archive, he begins to upload old songs from his time as Cardi. This opens the possibility that Ghost They would actually be planning to release an EP of covers in the style of “If You Have a Ghost” (13) or “Phantomime” (23).
