Getdown Services face their second album on “I Can’t Die Like That”

Those who have seen live Getdown Services They will know how fun they always are. Now they will also have a new repertoire to rock since they have just shared their new single “I Can’t Die Like That.”

Getdown Services are two very curious guys, Ben Sadler and Josh Lawa sort of Sleaford Mods in a pop and rock key, eager to have a good time and make us all have a good time. Last year they could be seen performing at the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic, in Donosti and in Madrid.

Now they have just released “I Can’t Die Like That”, a preview of what will be the Bristol duo’s second album, which recognizes influences from 80s music, 70s rock and disco music. The fact is that this song seems to be based on a rock guitar that is maintained throughout the entire length.

The group has become one of the names of the moment in the United Kingdom and has been chosen as a special guest for a lot of concerts by various artists since they published their debut “Crisps” in 2023.

Their second album, titled “Massive Champion”will be released on August 14 through Breakfast Records and is one of the most anticipated of the season in the British Isles and will include songs like “Poor Bannister”, “Probiotic”, “Cha Cha Slide”, or “The Radiator”, which they performed live a few days ago on the show Jools Holland.

Starting today, the duo will tour the United Kingdom, Australia and different parts of Europe, including some new dates in our country. In some of these concerts they will be sharing the bill with Super Furry Animals, The Courteeners or at the Meldown Festival in London, whose lineup has been curated by Harry Styles. Returning to our country, they will be performing in the Canela Party (August 27, Torremolinos), at the Ebrovisión (September 4, Miranda de Ebro) and at the Phe Festival (September 5, Tenerife).
