The American band Future Islands has recovered as a single one of the songs that remained unpublished from the sessions of his recent “People Who Aren’t There Anymore”It’s called “Glimpse” and it’s now available on platforms.
The Baltimoreans presented their “People Who Aren’t There Anymore” earlier this year, but they didn’t release all the songs they had recorded in the album sessions. Thanks to that, we can now listen to this new and unreleased “Glimpse”.
“Glimpse” is a song produced by the band itself along with Steve Wrightwith a mixture of Chris Coady and Wright himself. Wright is a very eclectic producer who has recorded with artists from very diverse genres such as Slipknot, Mos Def, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, MIA, Gregory ISaacs or Dying Fetusto cite a few varied examples.
The group will begin their North American tour this month, starting in Vancouver on the 10th and 11th, with all tickets sold out. They will then visit cities such as Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Santa Fe, Austin, Houston, Dallas and New Orleans. Much of the tour is already sold out.
