The charity concerts of Sex Pistols with Frank Carter As a vocalist, they have been a real success with the public and critics. That is why, apart from these performances, they are going to start a tour that is gradually expanding.
After the initial benefit concerts to raise funds for Bush Hall itself, a hall that is experiencing financial problems in these difficult times, in which the financial objectives were achieved and also an excellent response from the public and critics, both Sex Pistols -in this case Glen Matlock, Paul Cook and Steve Jones– have announced that they are going to add many more dates to this joint tour, which, it seems, is also working perfectly on stage.
These concerts will be followed by performances at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London (26 September, a concert for which all tickets were sold out in five minutes), in Birmingham (21 September), Glasgow (22) and Manchester (24), although the dates will be extended as, as Steve Jones says, there are people who request them from different parts of the country.
Let’s remember that, in these concerts, Carter and Sex Pistols perform in full that punk rock classic that is “Never Mind The Bollocks”. Now, given the impact, we can only hope to see the opportunity to see this combination of talents and generations on some stage in our country. The only thing we can say is that at least we will be able to see Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes in November. They will be performing in Barcelona (7 November, Razzmatazz 2), Bilbao (8 November, Santana 27), A Coruña (9 November, Pelícano) and Madrid (11 November, Sala But).
