Found dead, along with his wife, Gene Hackman

Actor Gene Hackman has been found dead at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on the afternoon of Wednesday, local time. They were next to him, also lifeless, his wife Betsy Arakawa pianist, and both’s dog.

As the local press reports, the police do not know what happened to them and are investigating it, but they have ruled out that it is a crime. Gene was 95 years old at the time of his death, and his wife, 63.

Gene Hackman was very popular for several decades of the last century, especially since he appeared in ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ in 1967. He won two Oscar awards for ‘The French Connection’ and ‘Without forgiveness’ and appeared in tapes such as ‘Superman’ or ‘The conversation’ of Coppola. Also in series such as ‘FBI’ and ‘The invaders’.

In 2003 he decided to retire after participating during our century in ‘Heist’ and ‘The Tenenbaums’ by Wes Anderson. That is, at the time of his death, he had been retired for more than 20 years.
