Final ZE3000 True Wireless In-Ear Headphones
The prestigious brand Japanese Final has just launched the ZE3000, some True Wireless in-ear headphones with a genuinely audiophile conception based on the most recent advances in acoustic and psychoacoustic engineering. The ZE3000 takes its name from the E3000, Final’s most popular and award-winning wired in-ear headphones thanks to the naturalness of a sound which was light years away from its direct competitors, designed to enhance treble and bass without taking into account the mechanics of the human hearing system. Hence, when the Final engineers began the design process of the ZE3000, they set themselves as a priority objective to take the sound quality of the E3000, something not easy, taking into account the limitations of the True Wireless concept with respect to the wired connection. The first challenge to solve was that the TW headphones include batteries, printed circuit boards and antennas that take up most of the available space in their earcups, meaning there is much less freedom to create a perfect acoustic chamber in order to achieve a high quality sound.
Furthermore, the waterproof character which, as a general rule, is expected from this type of headphones requires the helmets to be completely sealed without, consequently, any port being able to be included in them to regulate the pressure inside the aforementioned acoustic chamber, the result being excessive bass and a corresponding loss of overall clarity. One of the most common countermeasures adopted by many brands to solve this problem is to increase the high frequency level to regain clarity, although unfortunately this leads to the appearance of listening fatigue in long-term listening sessions. Final’s solution to this serious problem is the exclusive “f-LINK Damping System”a scheme that optimizes the pressure in the acoustic space inside each helmet to create a sound equivalent to wired headphones without the need for external ports. This system allows the ZE3000 to be waterproof and exhibit perfectly controlled bassthus making it possible for your sound so natural like the E3000 but in TW format. The other problem that Final engineers faced when creating the ZE3000 is the distortion, of the order of 3%, in the low frequency area that occurs in in-ear headphones.
In this case, the solution adopted materialized in the “f-Core for Wireless”, a new generation electrodynamic transducer whose extremely low distortion rate It allows you to reveal all the timbral and spatial details of each note. In addition, the shape of the earcups and earplugs (“TYPE E Truly Wireless Exclusive Edition”) of the new Final allows maximize comfort, suppress external noise and achieve excellent level of insulation. The ZE3000, which supports, thanks to its latest generation Bluetooth compatibility (5.2), the codecs aptX and aptX Adaptive from Qualcomm, include a battery with 7 hours of autonomy, an automatic synchronization function between helmets, a single helmet operating mode and a practical multi-function touch control, to which we must add an elegant charging box (which extends the autonomy up to 35 hours) and Final’s exclusive Shibo dust and fingerprint resistant finish.
