Fever Ray cancels at Kalorama; Judeline joins

Kalorama, which is celebrating its first edition in Madrid today with shows by LCD Soundsystem, The Postal Service + Death Cab for Cutie, Massive Attack, Sam Smith and JUNGLE, among many others that you can check out on its website, announces the cancellation of Fever Ray. This is due to health problems. Judeline, one of the revelations of the moment after her signing with Interscope, will take her place.

Fever Ray’s statement reads: “I’m so sorry to tell you all that I have to cancel next weekend’s shows 😥 After our last show at Way Out West (which I probably shouldn’t have done because I was feeling under the weather) I ended up in the hospital with bacterial pneumonia 🦠 I couldn’t get any oxygen so I was on oxygen and IV antibiotics for 7 days ❤️ My infection is gone now but I have a long recovery to get my lungs back on track 🫁❤️ I was so looking forward to finishing our tour and seeing you all again… 🥲 But we’ll be back! Thanks for listening ❤️.”

The cancellation of Fever Ray follows the one that took place a few weeks ago in The Smile, also due to health problems, in this case of Jonny Greenwood. You can see the statement from Fever Ray, accompanied by photos of his illness, on Instagram. He shares videos from the hospital, in one of which he jumps rope using the machines that supply him with oxygen.
