This has been produced by Drew Erickson and himself (Josh Tillman), mixed by Michael Harris and Jonathan Wilson in Fivestar Studios of Los Angelesand mastered by Adam Amyan.
A little over a year later, the single “The Old Law” follows the release of “Mahashmashana”. This represented the sixth full-length album by Father John Misty in twelve years, published in November 2024. An album in which Tillman It once again explores its usual themes, self-exploration, existentialism and mental health. As well as with the crudeness, the irony and its characteristic humor, it is not lacking in a usual heartbreaking point. It represents a sublimation of the character, where all the Father John Misty previous cubed.
