Fat Dog share epic preview “I Am The King”

The London band Fat Dog shares the new single “I Am The King”, a song that serves as a preview of what will be his debut album. They will begin their presentation tour in November.

They combine electronics, punk and harsh sounds, thanks to which they have become one of the most promising bands on the current British scene. Their music also represents a major change in the genres that are performing the most on the charts, so we will have to follow them very closely. This past week they performed within Primavera Sound's Primavera A La Ciutat programme.

Now we can listen to songs like “Running”, “King Of The Slugs” and this “I Am The King”, songs that bring them closer to electronic sounds and at the same time post-punk like those of the generation new rave but adapted to the current moment. In any case, all these songs will be part of what will be the group's debut album, “WOOF”which will be released on September 6 through Domino Records.

As for “Im Am The King”, it is presented with a video clip directed by Dylan Coates and Travis Barton, with total prominence by Joe Love, leader of the formation. Regarding the subject, the band points out that “it was written in the toilets in the Wetherspoons pub in Forest Hil. It was after they broke up with me. “One day there will be a blue plaque in the pub.”
