A few days ago we were talking about the apparent return of rock to the Spanish charts, with examples of songs from Viva Sweden, Arde Bogotá or Extremoduro. La MODA’s number 1 position on the Albums list with ‘San Felices’ continues to confirm this. It occupies the same position on the vinyl chart.
On the other hand, the only thing that changes in the top 5 compared to last week is the fifth position of ‘Tropicoqueta’ by Karol G, which rises from number 8 with the largest increase of the week. Viva Sweden’s ‘Made in Peacetime’, however, plummets from number 1 to sixth place.
We continue to see rock albums in high positions on the list. Such is the entry of ‘Pedrá’, Extremoduro’s fifth album, at number 13. This came out in 1995 as a single half-hour song and, this time, TikTok has nothing to do with it. It is its 30th anniversary, so it has received a vinyl reissue. Thus, it occupies second place on said list.
Besides Miss Caffeina’s ‘Buenasuerte’ (#20) and David Gilmour’s ‘The Luck and Strange Concerts’ (#40), the only entry on this half of the list is for Tame Impala and their ‘Deadbeat’. Kevin Parker’s latest LP has been placed at number 21 in the ranking, being more received on international charts. In this way, it occupies fourth position on both the Billboard 200 and the British album charts.
In the second half of the top we find Gala 5 by OT, ‘Malportada’ by Nathy Peluso and the album ‘En Directo’ by Triana in positions 54, 56 and 57, respectively. Ana Curra (‘Returning to old ways’, #84), Casper Mágico (‘Los Mágicos’, #93) and Coroner (‘Dissonance Theory’, #100) enter the bottom of the classification.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4ibjzGoAnE
