Now that horror cinema seems to be recovering its splendor thanks to films as acclaimed as ‘Weapons’ or ‘Return it to me’, Florence + The Machine has decided to join the trend with a thematic disc: ‘Everybody Scream’, which will go on sale next Halloween, on October 31. Hours after this announcement, the video of the song, Corte Rock, has been released, in which “everyone screams,” lit.

The band led by Florence Welch had already advanced the beginning of this new stage with a shocking video in which Florence appeared screaming like a poses in a hole in the earth. It has been premonitory.

The main cover and launch date has also been revealed and the pre-Orders of the disc in its different formats have been enabled, including vinyl editions with alternative covers.

Florence is not strange to create conceptual albums, since his previous work, ‘Dance Fever’ (2022), was inspired by the dance plague that affected Europe between the 14 and 17th centuries. This was, of course, the post-pondemic disc of Florence.

We cannot overlook, on the other hand, the obvious parallel between the new albums of Florence and Lady Gaga, two artists who have collaborated in the past. Especially the ‘Mayhem’ tour is terrified of terror and its passage through Spain coincides with Halloween.
