Estopa, Lia Kali, Crisix or La Ludwig Band, Altaveu awards

Yesterday the award ceremony was held in the Catalan town of Sant Boi de Llobregat Altaveu Awardsawarded by a professional jury within the framework of the festival that gives them their name.

In this edition – the thirty-fourth of the awards, the thirty-fifth of the festival – the festival has awarded various names that celebrate creativity and have significantly enriched the music scene. Thus, the winners were: Lia Kali, Rita Payés, La Ludwig Band, Mar Pujol, Crisix, Estopa and the record label Kasba Music.

The jury was composed in this edition by Joan S. Luna, Toni Castarnado, Alicia Rodriguez, Irene Desumbila, Vicente Merino and Sergi Nunez.

The festival Altaveu de Sant Boi de Llobregat will be held between today 1September 3rd and September 15th. This edition celebrates “returning to the essence of music”. On the poster we will find Xoel López, Lluís Gavaldà & ​​Joan Pau Chaves, Núria Graham and Aoife Nessa, Mar Pujol, Marala either The Pondsamong others. To all of them is also added Magali Sareone of the artists who won an Altaveu award last 2023. Other participants are Tarquim, CARLA, BTZ, Shoda Monkas either Mohama Saz. All of this clearly demonstrates Altaveu’s commitment to the musical diversity of the current moment.

Completing the musical part, there will also be parallel activities within Altaveu+ such as the exhibition of designer Iván Castro, the Altaveu Converses with speakers such as the designer Txarly BrownAltaveu al Cinema, the Disc and Musical Book Fair, Altaveu en Familia.
