The Group steals Estesa, pioneer in articulating a queer and feminist speech in Catalan music, ends a stage with two concerts that will be held December 11 and 12 in the paral room. 62 bass in the name of “Lo Last Estesa”. Tickets for December 11 are available and have been put up for sale after exhausting all tickets for the 12th.
With four studio albums and an EP, ESTISA steals have built a legacy that goes beyond the music scene: they have been an engine of change, a space for collective empowerment and a platform to give voice to social struggles, especially the feminist struggle and the struggle for the rights of the LGTBIQ+collective.
They started doing what they called “Folk Calentón” and have ended up being a group with more urban influences that have inspired many of the current formations. Songs like “Viu”, “The Nit Es nostra” or “Les Criades” have become hymns of a generation that has found in them a soundtrack for the party, the struggle and social transformation.
