Endesa Play announces semi-final dates and participating names

Endesa Play takes a new step forward in its second edition. After opening a call to which hundreds of the most varied emerging artists have signed up, the dates of the semifinals and the names of the participating artists and groups are announced.

This second edition of Endesa Play has Siloam as the image of the campaign together with the players of the Endesa League and the Endesa Women’s League, expanding its reach with more awards and new stages for emerging musical talent. Festivals such as Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest, Espacio Zity Zaragoza and the final of the Copa de la Reina LFE 2027 are added to the Jardín de las Delicias and the final Playoff of the Endesa League, where the winners of the project will perform.

After the success of the previous edition, this second one has returned not only to maintain expectations, but to exceed them. And now the participants will have to step forward. Because the in-person semifinals will take place in Barcelona (April 28, La Nau), Madrid (May 5, Sala El Sol) and Seville (May 13, Sala X). In Barcelona we can see Arlanda, L4, Sev’s, Paper Lake and Awake FlightThat is, there will be everything from indie pop to urban sounds. Something similar will happen in Madridsince they will perform there Carmen Lillo, Piti and I’m leaving, Samantha Palos, Sarabia and Tere! As to Sevillewill participate Elia, Hierva Büena, Maddi Alma, Roaming In My Head and The Surroyalwith sounds that will range from urban and electronic pop, through post-punk or pop punk.

This year the contest once again counts as a collaborator with the specialized music magazine Sound World and also adds two reference festivals, Iconic Santalucía Sevilla Fest and Espacio Zity Zaragozain addition to confirming presence in the Queen’s Cup 2027. These scenarios are added to those already consolidated: Garden of Delights in Madrid and the final Playoff of the Endesa League. Added to these new features is the incorporation of the Spanish Basketball Federationwhich joins the already existing collaboration with the acb to bring music to the two major team competitions of Spanish basketball: Liga Endesa and Liga Femenina Endesa.

From each of the three semi-finals a finalist will be chosen, while the fourth and fifth will be chosen by the public with a online voting the result of which will be made public later.

In the final final, the artists will perform their song rigorously live before the jury, which will decide which artists receive each of the Endesa Play awards. The entire process will be energized by Ana Medina and Ángel Carmona –who will present the final– and oski –which will present the semifinals.
