Emilia Pardo and Bazán share “Qué Pena” and first tour dates

The quintet Emilia Pardo y Bazan continues showing songs that will be part of his new work, which will be titled “What happened to the plans we made last night when we were drunk?” and will be released on May 15.

It will be the third album of their career, and with the progress they have made it clear that theirs is not indie orthodoxy. Over time they have built a unique sound universe in which earthly emotion coexists with distorted guitars, lyrics that observe everyday life with irony, affection and melancholy, and with a raw and confessional vision of love and feelings. Her latest single is “Qué Pena,” and it could be another chapter in her own drama series.

Emilia Pardo y Bazan They point out that “Qué Pena” is “a song that, like the Muñoz brothers, fiercely appeals to the need to return to where they wanted us, a wild ballad about the noise of a life in which construction never ends, always in terrible reconstruction, always in the wrong place. We would return to the town if this goes wrong, but unfortunately that town no longer exists.”

The Talavera de la Reina band will begin filming their new songs in a series of concerts already confirmed:
April 25 – La Lata de Bombillas – Zaragoza (+Cometa)
June 5 – Sonic Island Festival – Isla Cristina
June 6 – El Vid Festival – Ciudad Real
July 25 – Cream Pop Minifestival – Calpe
October 9 – UNI Room – Madrid
