Elon Musk, turned trillionaire, calls Billie Eilish stupid

Elon Musk has responded to Billie Eilish’s latest statements. The singer is one of the artists most aware of social causes and has been criticizing the great fortune of the founder of SpaceX, who recently became the first trillionaire (12 zeros) in history. This, consequently, has called her stupid in X.

A few weeks ago, Billie Eilish received the Wall Street Journal’s Innovation Award and, during her speech, she encouraged the billionaires present to share their wealth. Shortly after, on her Instagram Stories, she reposted a My Voice My Choice post about Elon Musk’s new salary and what problems it could solve, including world hunger, rebuilding Gaza, or saving endangered species.

Billie Eilish ended that series of Stories with a text of her own: “Fucking pathetic cowardly dog,” the singer published. Today, Musk responded to a random tweet from the Billie Eilish Tours account that reposted all of Eilish’s statements to say that she is not too bright: “Not the sharpest tool in the shed.”

It is not the first time that Elon Musk gets into trouble with an artist. He did it with Grimes and he did it again with Cardi B, calling him a “puppet” and saying that “he can’t speak without being given the words.”
