Edwyn Collins will say goodbye to the Spanish stage in April

Edward Collins has announced “The Testimonial Tour. A Last Lap Around Spain“, the tour with which he will say goodbye forever to the Spanish public.

The Scotsman has announced that he will star in one last tour of Spain before saying goodbye to the stage forever. “The Testimonial Tour. A Last Lap Around Spain”, a series of ten concerts in which some of their greatest hits such as “A Girl Like You” or “Rip It Up” will be played, as well as songs that are part of their last stage.

The tour will begin in Bilbao (April 29, Kafe Antzokia)and will continue San Sebastian (May 1, Dabadaba), Zaragoza (May 2, Sala López), Valencia (May 3, 16 Tons), Barcelona (May 5, La Nau), Madrid (May 6, But room), Seville (May 7, Malandar Music Club), Cádiz (May 8, Constitución 1812 Building), Santiago de Compostela (May 10, Capitol room) and will end in Ourense (May 11, Café & Pop Torgal).

Edwyn Collins has been active for more than fifty years, during which he was a member of Orange Juice, a band with which he released four albums. In 1985 he began his solo career that, thanks to “Gorgeous George” (94), reached number one on the charts with the single “A Girl Like You”. In 2005 she stopped her career due to illness, but returned in 2007, publishing five more albums, until the last one “Nation Shall Speak Unto Nation” in 2025.

Tickets will go on sale next January 16 at 11 a.m. at this same link. Now, today a pre-sale has been launched for Barcelona and a pre-sale for Madrid.
