Ed Sheeran, Rosé, Snoop Dogg … among the most influential people for Time

Time magazine has launched its selection of the most influential people of 2025. The list is divided into six categories (artists, icons, leaders, titans, pioneers and innovative) and includes the names of Demi Moore, Ed Sheeran, Serena Williams or … Snoop Dogg?

Not all musical artists included in the list are in the same category. It is striking that Ed Sheeran and Hozier are the only ones that are framed in the category of “artists.” Chris Hemsworth is behind Sheeran’s text, whom he describes as “one of the most kind people and with the feet on the ground that I have met,” in addition to praising his musical skills.

In the category of “pioneers” Rosé, a member of Blackpink, and Myles Smith, a British artist who has risen from the launch of ‘Stargazing’ in 2024. Shaboozey appear, Shaboozey says Smith says that Smith is proof that “singer -songwriter music is still alive in the era of top 40”.

They also surprise the inclusions of Snoop Dogg, which appears in the “innovative” section, and Donald Trump, Elon Musk or Milei in that of “leaders.” However, the most surreal in this case is to see these three names next to Teresa Ribera, first vice president and competence of the European Commission.
