Contour S 1.4 LE
The Contour S 1.4 LE model has a more solid sound than its size might suggest, as well as offering a great level of refinement and tonal balance.
FINISHES
The S 1.4 LE model is available in lacquered bubinga, oiled walnut, lacquered mocca and lacquered black. The aluminum woofer frames have a matte black finish while the metal front has a satin black finish. The black lacquered version of the Contour has a stainless steel metal front, which achieves a beautiful contrast with the black chassis.
But beauty is not only on the outside. The Contour LE has been technically refined and improved. Dynaudio’s precision-coated soft dome tweeter delivers beautiful, detailed high frequencies. The internal wiring is high quality oxygen-free copper. The filter has been perfected using special ceramic resistors and high quality capacitors; together they offer exceptionally pure and refined musical reproduction. Contour woofers include the best Dynaudio technology, such as MSP cones, extremely light aluminum wire voice coils in Kapton cartridges, and rigid, low-resonance aluminum frames.
One of the most significant distinguishing features of the Contour is its construction: the extremely rigid chassis features a single baffle. It consists of three layers – including one of cushioning material – and a thick metal sheet. This construction effectively reduces chassis resonance and allows for excellent sound even at maximum volume. In this speaker, the tweeter is located below the woofers to obtain perfect alignment of the beat in the listening position. For a fully satisfactory experience, Dynaudio suggests using the Stand 6 support with the additional S 1.4 top plate. The Stand 6 floor stand provides a solid base, free of resonances, and harmonizes perfectly with its design and size with the Contour chassis.

The limited edition Contour is available in a series of natural wood veneer finishes: bubinga, oiled walnut and mocha with a clear lacquer coat. In addition, these speakers are available in black lacquer with a stainless steel baffle.

The Contour S 3.4 LE model delivers a natural, balanced but dynamic sound thanks to the special construction of its chassis, its advanced technology and the incredible sound tuning.
